I provide full service Interior Design. I will design the spaces, use, color, and materials of your home. I consult with my clients on house plan designs or remodeling designs, re-imagining the spaces to suit their needs, and selecting the colors and materials such as tile, carpet, cabinets, countertops, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. I work with the contractor as the homeowner's voice, ensuring that the entire project is completed as envisioned.
I will complete the Interior Design of the home by selecting and providing the window treatments, furnishings, rugs, art, and accessories. I specialize in Custom Window Treatments. I can select and installl Custom shades, blinds, and shutters. I also design, sew, and install Custom Draperies, using top quality decorator fabrics and decorative rods. The Custom Draperies are designed individually for each home, so that the draperies complement and enhance the design of the home.
I keep current on the lastest news in the Interior Design and Window Fashions industries. I attend the Industry trades shows so that I can see what is coming on the Interior Design horizon. At the same time, however, I will work in any style that my customer chooses, whether it is primitive antique, global, modern, rustic, western, old world, transitional, classic, or traditional.
I also do design work for Commercial Businesses. I can plan office space, and select professional colors and style. I consult for local builders, selecting colors and materials for their projects.
I have chosen to keep Welcome Home Design as a solely owned business, with only myself as the Designer. This way, I am able to provide the personal attention that my clients deserve. I feel that it is important to establish a relationship with my clients so that I may learn of their taste and style. My goal is to translate their personal style within their home, all the while making the home feel welcoming to all who enter.
